There are so many impressive restaurants in Manchester, that it’s not easy to choose where to treat your loved one on Valentine’s Day. Therefore, we’ve selected some of our favourite romantic spots in Manchester city centre for those of you seeking inspiration.
Cloud 23, Deansgate – ££££
Boasting an exceptional location inside Beetham Tower on Deansgate, Cloud 23 has quickly become one of Manchester’s most prestigious cocktail and champagne bars. Many footballers and celebrities can be seen sipping on some iconic (and rather expensive) beverages, such as the £23 ‘Stratospheric’ cocktail.
But, what really makes Cloud 23 a sought-after romantic spot is the incredible view over Manchester city centre – especially by night.
Tattu, Spinningfields – £££
With some of the most beautiful restaurant interiors in the city, Tattu will take you to the Far East just by walking through the door. Its modern Chinese cuisine won’t disappoint either – we recommend the Chef’s Cut Wagyu Beef with sweet soy glaze. The restaurant also offers an exceptional variety of cocktails and drinks. Due to being extremely popular, we recommend visiting Monday – Thursday or on Sundays.
Manchester House – ££££
Another Spinningfields institution, Manchester House is another one of our favourite spots here at Manchester Apartments. In addition to its fine cuisine, Manchester House’s lavish interiors have certainly contributed to the restaurant’s success. Headed by ingenious Chef Nathanial Tofan, you’ll be graced with one of the most delightful fine dining experiences Manchester has to offer. If you’re a real foodie, we recommend opting for the Chef’s table or the restaurant’s six to 12-course tasting menu experience. It may be expensive, but Manchester House is worth every penny.
The Fitzgerald – ££
This cosy Northern Quarter spot will give you a taste of the Prohibition era in America. With beautiful vintage interiors and a chilled atmosphere, The Fitzgerald is the perfect place for jazz music and unique cocktails. Whether you decide to try the Hemingway Daiquiri or feel more tempted by the Tequila Mockingbird, the drinks menu certainly doesn’t disappoint.
The Fitzgerald is also ideal for quadruple dates, as it offers masterclasses in mixology for a minimum of eight participants per session.
