We’ve officially said goodbye to the summer months, and are getting ready to enjoy the autumn and the winter in the toon. Whether you’re looking to get crafty, have a giggle, or embrace the Christmas spirit, we’ve got some events for you to check out.
Time to get crafty and create your own wreath to hang at home. Head on over to The County Hotel on 30th November to work with Floral Quarter, who will help you build the ultimate christmassy wreath. They also provide prosecco and mince pies to keep your energy up – they really did think of everything, didn’t they?
No, we’re not engaging in the argument about whether Die Hard is a Christmas film or not, but we can’t resist an opportunity to watch it in the Tyneside Cinema on 14th December. Watch both Die Hard and Die Hard 2 back to back, bring some snacks and get yourself an Ice Blast to really make an evening of it. This is one we can’t wait to attend.
Head on over to St James’ Park for a drink and a giggle at their new Christmas Comedy Night. Hosted on 14th December, this is a great way to embrace the festive spirit and share a laugh with friends or family, as well as enjoying some free food and maybe even finding your next favourite up-and-comer.
The highlight of the season is obviously going to be the Newcastle Christmas Markets, returning to the toon this year from 16th November until 22nd December. We absolutely love exploring the markets, and whether you’re after some traditional gifts, some delicious snacks, or a cheeky mulled wine, we bet that you’ll love it too.
How are you planning on spending the next few months in Newcastle? We’d love to see what you get up to – tag us on our socials to share.
