Student nights in Newcastle are legendary, and we know that we’ve had more than one night to remember at these places. Get your dancing shoes on, it’s time to boogie!
THE place to be on a Monday, Digital hosts Kandi-Island nights that offer more than just affordable drinks. You’ll find the best tunes, a brilliant buzz, and free cakes and sweets through the night. Got 9am lectures on a Tuesday? Not a problem here. Digital also host a student night on a Saturday – they’re out here giving us everything we could ask for and more.
Greys is practically a rite of passage for Newcastle students, offering four floors with different vibes and genres to ensure everyone has something that they can dance to. Hit it up on a Friday to attend Block Party, where you’ll get house and disco music on the terrace so you can dance the night away with a stunning view.
The biggest club in Newcastle, this venue brings the biggest and the best. While you probably won’t be going every week, they throw nights that you’ll never forget and have some wild names performing – with DJs lined up and some incredible light shows and a capacity of 1,500 people, it’s easy to see why this is such a favoured spot.
If you’re not up for a big night out, we get it. Sometimes you just want to sit, chill, and enjoy some tasty treats with your mates. Not to worry, Newcastle has got plenty of them for you to explore too.
An award-winning restaurant situated in a 13th-century medieval friary; this is a stunning place to visit with a menu that will leave your mouth watering for days after. They’ve also got some of the best sweet treats you can find in Newcastle in their famous Afternoon Teas, so don’t miss out on them!
Have you found yourself wondering where you can enjoy a dinner with a view like no other? We heard you, and this is the place for you. SIX at BALTIC is a stunning riverside restaurant offering a tasty, modern British menu and views of the Quayside almost – yes, almost – as good as we have them in our building at City Co-Living Newcastle.
You’ve likely seen that we’re BIG fans of this place – and for good reason. Sometimes you just want to wind down, grab a slice, and enjoy some time with your mates, and this is the place to do it. With an amazing range of pizzas and ice cream, you might even see us in there grabbing our 14th slice this week – there’s no judgement when it comes to good pizza, okay?
