This is a quirky subterranean cocktail bar that you can find housed in the former Victorian public toilet, which has now been transformed into an impressively imaginative and unique venue. It’s a relaxed atmos, perfect for a relaxing catch-up at the end of a long day, and have some great options from the classic Martini to chilli-infused Negronis.
Mother Mercy is an award-winning cocktail bar nestled in a basement on Cloth Market, and is constantly namedropped in the UK’s top 50 bars. Offering up some creative alternatives to your standard cocktail menu, including a Hot Honey Marg, this is a really cosy spot that makes for a great date night. There also often run happy hours during the week, too – always worth checking out when you can.
Just off the Quayside, Tiger Hornsby gives off a laid-back yet stylish vibe with a fun, quirky boutique feel. With an ever-changing menu offering up seasonal and experimental options, you won’t run out of things to try here in a hurry.
