Our Top Spots To Grab A Coffee In The Toon

Deep North

You’ll find Deep North on Dean Street, and while they have some delicious coffees on offer, we’d be doing them an injustice if we didn’t talk about their doughnuts. With a variety of delicious combos and toppings, we’re not being dramatic when we tell you that our life changed the first time we tried one of these doughnuts.

Their miso caramel is a firm favourite, with flaky sea salt on top to make it pop. However, we also adored their chocolate peanut butter doughnut, perfect for a pick-me-up and an energy boost when you need it. They also offer dog-safe doughnuts, so they get bonus points for that too.

Laneway & Co.

If you find yourself needing a quick coffee around High Bridge, Laneway & Co is the place to go. It’s a perfect spot for a quick coffee, or for a longer stay if you’re looking for some brunch – we’re a big fan of a place that offers dippy eggs and soldiers, by the way. What a delicious little throwback.

Over to the coffee, their dirty chai latte is absolutely stunning, and their blueberry matcha is utterly irresistible. Not only are they delicious, but they look amazing too, so a perfect addition to your insta story.

The Hooch

In our favourite area, on the Quayside, The Hooch is the perfect day-to-night spot that offers something for every time of the day. Whether you’re looking for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail, this is where you want to be.

With an abundance of syrups to customise your coffee, and some of the best hot chocolate you’ll find across the toon, The Hooch is a great spot for any time and any vibe, and we can’t get enough of their snack options – it’s a salted caramel brownie for us, please.
