With Easter just around the corner, you know that we couldn’t resist getting our baking mitts out and making some treats ahead of World Baking Day. Whether you’re a natural baker, or more of an instant cookie dough kinda chef, we’ve got you covered with some of our favourite treats.
Mini eggs are the perfect treat for Easter, and they make a perfect addition to a batch of cookies. When eaten warm, these mini eggs end up all melty inside, and make for a delicious bite. You can chop them up if you prefer less chunky cookies, but we just threw a handful – or four – in and let them do as they pleased.
Carrying on with the mini eggs theme – yes, we ended up buying too many, but we think that this is the opposite of a problem in the grand scheme of things – but this rocky road was an absolute dream. Rocky road is a great option because you can personalise it however you want, so you can add anything you like and get creative with it.
Easter isn’t Easter without a crème egg or two, so when we saw this we knew we couldn’t resist it. It looks like an absolute masterpiece, and due to it mostly being stacked it’s actually pretty easy to create while looking like it took time and effort. A slice of this will impress any visitors, and makes for a perfect treat at the end of the day too.
