Whether you’re a Halloween lover and can’t get enough of the horror, or you’re not so keen on the gore but will take any excuse to dress up, we’ve got some of the best events in the toon for you to look into this Halloween.
Psycho Path
On 12th October, head over to Lintz Hall Farm to find the ultimate Scream Park, offering 12 nightmarish attractions, haunted bars, merch, and the best food traders in the North – if you survive long enough to get to them. This is the best scream park in the UK, so you best be feeling pretty brave before you go along to this one.
Cirque Du Soul : Halloween Special
On 31st October NX Newcastle invites you to the scariest circus rave you’ve ever seen. Welcome to the abandoned theatre of nightmares full of killer clowns, rabid bats, and dancing zombies. If you can make it past them, you’ll be surrounded by club bangers, techno, Halloween performers, themed décor, confetti and CO2 jets, and top headliners. This is what Halloween is about.
Halloween Secret Rave
Hosted on 31st October at Newcastle University is the Freshers’ Secret Rave – admittedly not much of a secret if we’re sharing it here, but we couldn’t keep this one to ourselves. Ideal for students looking to get out and mix, this is one of the biggest freshers parties of the year. It sells out fast, so now’s the time to secure your spot and start working on that costume.
Trick or Treat Makers’ Market
Open 30th October, 5:30 pm-8:30 pm, free entry at Lambdon Castle. Packed with spooky stalls, with a well-stocked bar of food and drinks too to keep you going. You can find all sorts of things in this market, and will be mostly Halloween-themed, so head on down, show some support for local businesses, and see what you like.
