Horticulture
Horticulture is one of our immediate go-to’s for a delicious brunch or coffee and cake with pals, so it’s really no surprise to anyone that they also make some of the best pancakes we’ve ever had. Think immaculate vibes, insta-worthy meals – Horticulture is the place to be.
We live for a quirky pancake topping, so when Horticulture pulled out the Candied Bacon Pancakes, you best believe that we went straight for a bit of that – and we cannot recommend it enough. The saltiness balances with the sugar so perfectly it was like they were made to be together – but if you’re not ready to put your faith in that combo, we also really rate the Biscoff pancakes.
The Dispensary
The Dispensary is an elite choice when you’re looking for a Pancake Day treat, with regular specials up on the board as well as utterly delicious year-round options. Their latest special is a Ferrero Roche Pancake Stack – we don’t need to say much more about that, do we? 11/10. Stunning.
If that special isn’t available, you’ll always catch us going for the Jam and Custard option. It’s a bit out there, but we cannot put into words the nostalgia that this fills us with. They’ve absolutely nailed this recipe and we can’t wait to go back and get a cheeky stack.
Aidan’s Kitchen
It’s basically impossible to talk about Pancakes without getting Aidan’s Kitchen in the mix. We absolutely love it here, and it’s no wonder when they’re serving up some of the best food you can find in the toon.
Our sweet tooth really took over at this point, and when we saw the dulce de leche, banana, chantily cream and chocolate shavings on pancakes, we think we lost our mind for a minute or two. Words simply don’t do this one justice; get down there and experience it for yourself to truly understand just how good it is.
