Christmas is around the corner, and we’re ready to start all of our festive baking to kick it off. Whether you’re looking for a showstopper to impress friends and family, or just want to try something new and get a delicious treat at the same time, these are our top recommendations to try.
Tiramisu Truffles
Chocolate and coffee is one of our favourite combos, so these truffles are an absolute dream. Super simple to make, if you’re not a keen baker, you’ll still be able to nail these, and you can decorate them as you like to really glam them up. These never fail to impress if they’re out as a snack for visitors, or if you’re looking for a little pick-me-up treat, they’re perfect.
White Chocolate & Ginger Florentines
These are the perfect Christmas treat, and they look absolutely incredible too. Think chewy, sweet, and deliciously fruity, Florentines are a really easy recipe and allow you to customise if you don’t like something – so you can go heavy on certain nuts and exclude others. We like to add glace cherries to ours for an extra sweet chew, and a little glow in the Florentines too. We love making these, but they don’t last long with us around…
Banoffee Chocolate Cups
We’re a sucker for banoffee, and these little cups blow Reece’s peanut butter cups out of the water. They look great, and are super easy to make – a winning combo in our books. You can add décor on the top to make them look even fancier – we’re a fan of a white chocolate drizzle to make them really stand out.
