With the end-of-summer bank holiday fast approaching, we wanted to make the most of the incredible weather we’ve been having and celebrate in style. There are endless things on offer in Manchester this coming Bank Holiday, so we picked out our personal favourites for you to check out.
This is the second year of the Summer of Love Festival, and it’s going to be an absolute blast. Hosted in The Love Factory on Dantzic Street in the city centre, the festival is a blend of music, art, and wellness, meaning there’s plenty on offer – even hosting its own record store on-site. With an insane line-up featuring Mr. G, Nicolas Lutz, and Dyed Soundroom, this is an incredible way to spend the bank holiday.
Hosted in GRUB’s Garden on Cheetham Hill, this is set to be the ultimate bank holiday party, with DJ’s, live music, street food, craft beer and cocktails on offer. This is probably one of the best ways to spend the bank holiday – with some friends or family, some good music, and some even better food. Sign us up!
If you’re looking for an afternoon of prosecco and pizza – then Flight Club is perfect for you. You can choose to either celebrate in a small group with bottomless booze and tasty snacks, or if you’re looking for something a little more competitive, you can also add a game of social darts onto your booking. Perfect for those after a fun afternoon with plenty of laughs and multiple glasses of bubbly, we’ve got our eye on this one.
For the night owls out there, we know that sometimes events during the day just aren’t up your alley. We couldn’t leave you hanging – so we also picked out some cool options for a night out, too.
Described as a ‘one-man music factory’, Quantic is one of the UK’s top global music adventurers. Get those dancing shoes on and prepare to throw some shapes through the night in The Blues Kitchen on Quay Street.
Manchester Pride is famed across the globe, and it’s clear to see why. With 3 days jam-packed with club nights, drag acts, and a parade that you’ll never forget, this is a brilliant way to spend the bank holiday. Whether you’re getting involved for yourself or in support of the LGBTQ+ community, we promise you that it will really take your bank holiday to the next level.
A good menu will make any weekend better, but to make the most of the bank holiday, how about checking out some of our new favourite spots and giving them a go?
