Brunching with our besties is one of our favourite ways to fill a Saturday morning, and with more and more delicious places popping up, we wanted to share our current go-to spots. Whether you’re looking for the best avo toast you can find or you’re after a top-tier latte to stick on your Instagram, we’ve got you covered.
You can’t talk about brunching in Manchester without bringing Federal into the mix. They’re borderline famous across the city for offering some of the best plates you can get your hands on, which does mean that it’s usually pretty busy – but we promise that it’s more than worth the wait. They’ve put an Aussie twist on brunch offerings, and every dish comes out looking ready for a photoshoot. They also now offer freshly-made coffee drinks that they can turn into a can for you, making taking them out and about way easier – and honestly, super cute.
An iconic place to visit in the Northern Quarter, head over to Oldham Street to get a taste of these classic British fry-ups with some stunning veggie and vegan options that mean everyone can eat well here. If you’re heading down on a weekend, they sometimes have life DJ’s too to add to the vibe, but they keep it nice and laid-back, so no need to worry about heavy bass while you’re enjoying your beans.
If you find yourself down on Oxford Road and in need of a good meal, Another Heart to Feed is the perfect pitstop. They’re home to some of the best sourdough toasties we’ve found in the city, and they’ve also got a great vegan menu too. During the day, it’s a lovely brunch and coffee spot, but by night, it transforms into a brilliant wine bar that’s full of fresh, local produce with the menu inspired by the staff’s travels across various countries. It doesn’t get much better than this.
Manchester is full of stunning brunch spots, these are just our current go-tos – but we’d love to hear about your fav spots to hit up. Head on over to our socials to let us know where you’d recommend.
