Bonfire Night in Manchester – Where We’ll Be

Freight Island has been one of the backbones of the city for some time now, and they’re ready to hold the baton yet again for Bonfire Night. They’re teaming up with outdoor arts specialists, Walk The Plank, to host a 3-night firework show to light up the Manchester Skyline. With a 10-minute firework display, a music-themed show, and free sparklers. There will also be extra treats on sale, including hot chocolate and mulled wine to keep us warm. Excellent.

Poynton Fireworks

Poynton is one of the best places to head to celebrate Bonfire Night. They put on a huge bonfire, an incredible fireworks display, and have live music, local food vendors, and amusement rides to give you everything you could want. This has been going on for over 50 years now, and it’s clear to see the love, care, and attention that goes into each year of planning. Top tip – if you’re heading to Poynton, we recommend that you try one of the hot chocolate stands. Trust us, they’re absolutely incredible.

Bowden Fireworks

Coming back for their 56^th year of celebrating Bonfire Night, the Bowden Club is not to be missed. Offering out various bars, BBQs to keep you warm and full, plenty of stalls and rides to explore while you wait for the incredible show to kick off. Similar to Poynton, having been doing it for so long, Bowden Club know how to put on a good show, and we can’t wait to see it in all its glory.
