Platt Fields Park

Wythenshawe Park
Tuesday 5th November
Free to attend
If you travel slightly further out of the centre, you’ll get to the beautiful Wythenshawe park. Set across 109 acres of land, the park is the perfect place to host bonfire night. The fireworks ‘extravaganza’ seems to get bigger and better every year, with more and more people travelling south of the city to see the display. The fireworks are due to begin at 7.30pm, followed by the bonfire.
Manchester City Council has advised arriving early to all of the displays. With added safety precautions this year, the Council are urging people to avoid bringing large bags and to travel using public transport where possible. Don’t forget to arrive early and wrap up warm!
We hope you find an event near you, and enjoy the festivities. If you’re out to see the fireworks over the next couple of days, be sure to take a picture and tag us on Instagram!
