Get some fresh air at Dunham Massey

Why not do something super wholesome this bank holiday and take a stroll around Dunham Massey? A good walk in the sun is the perfect thing to do if you want to get some fresh air and see some beautiful sights away from Manchester city centre. Take a lovely walk around the gardens and gaze at the amazing deer that you can see along the paths, or you can also take a tour of the Dunham Massey House where you can explore the history of the estate. You can also grab a coffee and a bite to eat in either The Stables Restaurant or Stamford Café, giving you something to boost your energy after your walk in the fresh air around this stunning National Trust site. Dunham Massey is always somewhere we’d recommend when you want to escape city life, and what a perfect time to do it than bank holiday weekend.

Have a night out with a board game

Instead of heading into town, why not take a trip down to Didsbury and visit Goodtime Games café? This amazing spot is designed to be the perfect spot for a lunchtime escape or an evening of entertainment – so whenever you’re free, you can enjoy it with your friends. Whether you’re a beginner, casual player, or board game enthusiast, Goodtime Games has everything you’d need for the perfect evening well-spent this bank holiday. Over the bank holiday weekend, Goodtime Games is open from 10:30am – 10:30pm meaning you can go whenever you feel like it, however, we recommend booking for the Bank Holiday weekend, so you don’t make it there and just miss out on the fun. Oh, and did we mention that they do unreal vegetarian and vegan food?
