You’ll find Handlebar in Fallowfield, one of the biggest student hotspots in Manchester. During the day, it’s a great hub space that you can head over to get some work done, or to do a bit of socialising, and it transforms into a DJ bar of an evening.

Offering loads of student-focussed events, including our fav ‘We Love To Boogie’ night on a Wednesday, you can enjoy some proper cheesy bops, and £1 shots – that’s what we call a good night.

Ramonas'

Looking for a cheeky slice and a tasty marg? Look no further, Ramonas’ in the Northern Quarter has got you covered. Whether you’re looking for a lunch with some mates, or somewhere for an evening out, Ramonas’ can do it all.

With firepits to keep it warm and to really add to the atmosphere, it’s a great vibe in here – and if you visit on a Sunday, you can get their roast dinner pizza slice that’s served with a side of gravy. 10/10, no notes.

If you’re feeling a bit nostalgic, and wanting to relive some of the best bits of childhood, NQ64 is where you need to be. Filled with old-school arcade machines, you can grab some tokens from the bar and challenge your mates to any of the games around.
