4 New Spots In Manchester To Check Out

One of the best things about Manchester is that you can always find somewhere new to explore. The City is constantly benefiting from new businesses popping up, and we think it’s only right that we dedicate some time into exploring these new spots. If you haven’t checked out some of these already, you’ll be dying to by the time you’re done reading this.

A new deli in Ancoats opened this July, called… Ancoats Deli. Look, it tells us what we need to know, that’s what matters – and they have already taken the Ancoats neighbourhood by storm.

With some ultimate classics on offer, including Jambon Beurre and the stunning Reuban, you can eat in, take out, sit in their sunny courtyard (when the Manchester weather is playing nice, anyway). They’ve also got a little essentials shopping area set up, so if you’re passing by and need to grab some milk or bread on the way home, they’ve got you covered. Talk about thinking of everything, right?

Oseyo

Oseyo, translated from Korean as Welcome, has had a shop down on Oxford Road for some time and has been incredibly popular ever since. Now, they’ve expanded into the Arndale, bringing us the biggest Asian supermarket in the North, full of all the biggest and best brands that Korea has to offer.

It opened this July, and on its launch day had hundreds of people queueing up to get a taste of the action. Whether you’re looking to try the iconic ice cups, or you’re looking for hundreds of different types and flavours of noodles, this is where you want to be.

HEYTEA

With over 4,000 stores around the world, you know that they’re doing something right. HEYTEA have opened two locations in Manchester, one in Chinatown, and one on Market Street – as if there weren’t enough people wrestling up and down that street on the daily, now there’s going to be even more flocking to get their boba fix.

Whether you’re looking for a classic brown sugar boba tea, or something more unique, like their cheese-infused teas – yeah, we weren’t sure either, but you can’t knock it ‘til you try it! If you’re looking for a fruity treat, this is where you should be heading.

Flat Iron

If you’re a fan of a juicy steak, we bet you’ve been waiting for this to launch in the North. A London-famed restaurant, Flat Iron, has finally graced the North, and opened in Deansgate in July.

If you’re not aware of Flat Iron, you can get some of the best slices of steak you’ll find, including a chance to sample Wagyu beef. They also have plenty of side orders to keep things exciting – we’d recommend the garlic mash and the mac and cheese. Trust us, you can NEVER go wrong with mac and cheese as a side.

There’s plenty more for you to explore, but we hope that you love the places we’ve listed as much as we do. Have you visited any of them, or do you have somewhere that you’d recommend? Let us know on our socials.
